3-spoke Leather Sports Steering Wheel with Steering Wheel Gearshift (Paddleshift)

3-spoke sports steering wheel (diameter 376 mm) with integrated steering wheel gearshift *. Leather-covered steering wheel rim with a larger diameter and special thumb-rest bulges. Gear-changing is performed using paddles on the steering wheel, as an alternative to the softip function. There is one paddle behind the steering wheel's middle spokes on the right- and left-hand sides of the wheel respectively. Pressing the paddle on the right gives the command to change up a gear, while pressing the paddle on the left changes down. The two shift paddles turn together with the steering wheel. The driver is able to keep both hands on the steering wheel while changing gear and to concentrate fully on the road ahead. The driver can switch between using the paddles on the steering wheel and the shift lever at any time. When retrofitting this option, additional software is necessary which can be done here at Digitec in Somerset or at any Smart Franchised Dealer.
